Please tell me what you think and be honest before the ads on my page were a little more obvious but I managed to somehow almost blend them in... Is this bad? www.evilpsp.com Thanks for your feedback!
I think your ads are blended very well. By the way, I'm really big into the PSP scene Have you ever posted at forums.qj.net?
$6.19 yesterday using a large rectangle $1.84 sofar today using the adlink 468x15 I do like how it doesnt take up NEAR as much space as it use to but it still kind of stands out Austars, no I don't but maybe I should I'm glad to see another PSP scene'r around on the DP forums though!
The blending of the Adsense box off to the right is actually pretty good in how you have it in the same column as the utilities, and it's formatted really well with the rest of the site in my opinion, but then again I'm a REAL newbie. So much of a newbie that I have to ask... on the 'ads by Google' section at the top in the main section, where you have links to take people to adds by Google based on the Playstation, or the PSP, ect... is that Adwords?
pixads, The large square seemed to produce more clicks, however the slim link unit seems to be paying more per click, I'm not making as much now but I'm enjoying not having a huge block of my site eatn up by an Adsense ad rush4rk, No its not WordPress. the CMS I'm using is Drupal 4.7 and previous to Drupal I used PHPNuke (I was a 100% nooblet then). Drupal has increased my website's popularity like I would have never guessed. 3 weeks after switching from PHPNuke to Drupal 4.7 95% of my traffic comes from Google and I get roughly 2,000 hits a day on average. Josh Inno,Those are not Adwords, it is a simple 468x15 Link Unit
Thanks MrJW. Sorry about that. So how does that Link unit generate revenue for your site (what program is it under)? Or is it there simply as a service to your users?
Okay, so the part below the immages is a google adsense? Or are the immages part of it too? Sorry I'm being such a Noob.
Thanks MrJW. I was under the impression that there were only 1 or 2 adsense box sizes, the one used at the top of the page here at digitalpoint, and the longer add bar. It also looks like you were able to keep a permanent set of links. This is the first time I've seen this done relating to Adsense, and I didn't see anything relating to that in the tour I took of Adsense at google.
