Using "YT" in a domain name?

    Please share your advice. I intend to buy a domain that contains "yt" and full domain is related to an youtube niche.

    Example: yt + word + .com

    Can youtube.com claim my domain?

    I highly doubt it. yt can be perceived as anything realistically. If someone calls you up about it just state that it's just 2 letters. Nothing more, nothing less.

    YT won't directly violate any copyrights because YT isn't mentioned in the website as one of their trademarks. Btw are you depending on YouTube api or anything owned by google ? Sometimes google might not allow you to use their products eg:- adsense

    I've registered the domain already. No I don't need anything from google. I might use adsense in future for monetization but there's many other monetization option so no problem.
