I've been wondering about using Youtube as a means of generating traffic to my website. As it in general works. Tell please
sure it does. just make sure your videos are interesting enough. and your url watermark dont cover the video itself And put your link in the video description, people wont click it if they've had to go to your channel.
It really has to have some "viral" attractiveness. Otherwise you'll get about 50 viewers of which one clicks on your link. Check out some video's similar than the one you plan to upload and see how many viewers they had. Then decide if it's worth it.
Unless its unique it can be a bit of a struggle. You have to try and stand out from the many 100 of 1000's of other videos that are potentially the same.
youtube gets more searches than google per month. i submitted few videos there and do get some traffic but hardly any conversion. it all depends on niche as i see some are getting some success with YT marketing while other are not.
It really depends on what your website is based on. IF is based on a video that people really find it good, they will surely check out your website for more
If done properly, youtube can be an excellent source of targeted traffic. In April of 2007 I opened my youtube channel and started posting videos. In the past 25 months I have posted over 320 videos, I have 9,192 subscribers, a couple of my videos have been viewed over 200,000 times. My most recent video: Honors for this video (3) #100 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Education - Canada #57 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Education - New Zealand #88 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Education 5,290 views in one week. When I started my youtube channel, if I would have 1/2 the information I have right now, my channel would probably be 10X what it is now. The important things you should learn is how to make a good quality video - both in resolution and in content. Keyword placement in the title is very, very important. To give you an idea of the kind of traffic, at one time youtube sent my site as much traffic as yahoo. The bounce rate is 18%, as compared to google search traffic of 48%.
you really can gain allot with a youtube video also you really can gain very little it is very very important that it is interesting. Not smart or educational or informational but interesting as most people are looking for interesting videos not you talking about how great your website is I use very abstract and shocking videos that are short since it takes less time to load and gets my website out there faster
With Video Marketing, one useful site to use is Tubemogul.com. It is a video submission site wherein you upload your video to tubemogul and you can easily distribute it to different video sites such as Google video, Yahoo! videos, Youtube, Vimeo and etc.
Thanks big. I do not understand where there the reference needs to be left, that passed to my site. Tell me please
Yup, its really effective when it comes to traffic,...but you have also to build more links just to have an organic traffic,...... because youtube is not permanent unlike search engine traffic.
YouTube receives approx 20 hours of video time upload per minute You are competing with that onslaught of content So you need to have at least a differentiator to ensure you stand out from the crowd
yes, for youtube you will get traffic but the thing is that you must do the right work 1> good quality video 2> your url in 1st line of description 3> youtube channel must look professional 4> your video must stand out some thing different 5> try to make your subscribers list big with good videos 6> give back link to your video and lot more things.... 5>
YouTube is an excellent source of traffic. If you have a new blog or site, create a video linking to your blog - you site will be indexed within hours.
