yeah, you could do it like the old stumble exchange - you say will exchange 1 answer for your answer.. although they might catch on if its 2 accounts answering each other.. so you need a 3 way one.
Just do searches for keywords related to your niche and then answer any open questions. Just make sure to post a really long well informed answer and don't spam becuase they will shut down your account. You can also go through all the newly asked questions so you can be the first to answer. Sometimes the posts will show up in search engines bringing you more long term traffic. It is best to promote a lead capture page when posting a URL on answers and not a sales page.
You should focus on your website. Spend your time improving it. Once your users will be happy, they will link and share your site.
Don't put your URL in the body of your ad like I did or you'll be shut down like I was. It was fun while it lasted and I did get some response. They said I could come back on with new info but I haven't had the time. donrock
No, don't use your link like a forum signature - you will be banned. Put your link as the source to the answer - but only do it when it really IS the source of the answer.
I have tried yahoo answers for a couple of months, but the results were quite poor. I even got several best answers but that did not create consequent traffic.

More specifically how it can be extremely beneficial to include in your overall website marketing plan. I personally think the most powerful few words mentioned here come directly from Yahoo's own quote... "...Yahoo! Answers connects people to the information they’re seeking with those who know it..."
