Using WP - How to stop Hotlinked images appearing in Stats

    In my stats all I see is references to:
    ​/​/images​/bba_80.gif

    I've tried to redirect the above url using WP redirection plugin but doesn't work, probably due that there's two // infront which I think relates to an old domain which is referring to the current one.

    Is there anyway to stop this showing in the stats/block this?

    But hotlinking protection seems to cater for all images/image types, I want to block/redirect one single image.
