Hi everyone. I could really use your help on this one.

I am starting a health based site and I really want to know the best way to set it up.

I am tossing up between getting a custom design made for Wordpress or building my own site with Dreamweaver (don't currently have the software so will have to buy it)

Please give me some advice as I really need it.

Who cares? Then end user wants the content, not nurses n docs poppin around.

You want the money, and ease of use.

Wordpress is so easy to use and market. Designs are everywhere.

I'll suggest you to download WP and install your server. Time to time try to make chances in template - that will be great.

No need to reinvent the wheel as long as it serves your purpose!!!

WP is a great CMS indeed and SEO friendly

But you will maybe have to do some things (a good theme + some customization) to get a site that does not look like a blog (with dates, archives and things like this)

My biggest new projects in 2008 will be based on WP ;)

users need content, you need money. Investing in coding a site then designing it will cost you more than just designing it. That's a simple choice! Go with WP!

I love WP, really truly love WP. You might even want to look into someone customizing a theme for you (if you can't do it yourself) or just having someone code a theme to your liking.

I'd go with wordpress. There are some themes that are very easy to customise, and with wordpress it's easy to update your site regularly.

The themes I've found to be very customisable are sanbox and Slider V3. Goodluck.
