Using visa gift card to activate my paypal account?

    Hello,

    I am going to activate my paypal account but I do not have a credit card. I heard that you can use visa gift cards (The ones you can pick up from walmart), but there are mixed responses. I searched on the forums and the questions were answered quite a while ago, so I would like a more recent answer incase anything changed.

    Also, will my account ever be taken down or something since I used one?

    I don't think that you can use this facility for getting your account verified. A few days before I was also facing the same problem with paypal to withdraw the money. Though somehow I solved the issue, I didn't hear about this gift card option. May be it is my ignorance. Waiting for the other replies.

    No can't do! Why are people finding it hard to access debi cards? I believe you can also apply for a VCC virtual credit card. Cummon guys. [​IMG]

    i have heard that using VCC we are verified paypal and lift our withdrawal and sending limit...

    is this true??
