Using uploaded Fonts?

    Hi

    I am looking for a way to use fonts i have uploaded to my site as a font so for example if i uploaded a font called Hivs how will i be able to use that font on my site ?

    Please post if you know how to do this.

    The user has to have the font file on their computer. The only benefit of having the font file on the server is if you use server side scripting to create images with text on them.

    Although, I have heard of embedded fonts but it seems to be available only for IE

    Hmmm well i would be intrested in Server Side scripting for this if anyone has more info on that please post.

    If you are embeding the font in the page (ie for others to download) you need to ensure you have a distributors licence for the font.

    Yea very risky using custom fonts, if the end user does not have them you are in trouble.
