Using Twitter to Promote Movie Streaming Site???

Hello all,

I have owned TV show and Movie streaming sites for quite some time now. I would like to give Twitter a try as a source of promotion. I'm kind of a newbie at twitter advertising but what I would like to do is create one twitter account for 3 of my movie sites. Then install a plugin on all of those sites to automatically update on twitter when I post a new movie on one of the sites.

What I'm kind of looking is one big account that I can promote all 3 sites on at once.

But my question is...How should I build up my followers? just go the old fashion way at first and mass follow people and then mass unfollow to get a jumpstart group? This way seems to be the fastest to build a stream of followers, however they would not be targeted followers if you get what I'm saying.

I'm just looking for any ideas on how to go about starting this up. None of the movie sites are getting traffic as they have all just been created, so it's not like i can post a link right away saying "follow me on twitter" and get a ton of targeted followers.

Anyone got suggestions on what I should do?

And any other ways of promotion through social networks (besides facebook)?

There are sites out there to help you with promotion and are still not against their TOS. If you mass follow and unfollow you will surely be flagged and banned as soon as they find out what you are doing. Try twiends.com, all you have to do is follow other people and more people will follow you.

Twitter is good for promotion if you have a large number of followers.

I'd said a large number is atleast 10,000 and even then it's hard because most of it isn't targetted.

 

Yes now a days twitter is very famous for marketing, just you need to update your new post on twitter with the link and you need to get some good quantity of followers then you will get much profit

 

Your best bet it to get targetted followers, those interested in what you're promoting and this can be done with several tools such as the one in my sig The key is to build a mass following with users that share the same interest. I'm able to drive dozens of unique visitors to several of my different sites a day.
