    Twitter is cool for social marketing, but I am not being pessimistic here, before you know it, it will be misused. A lot of people are outdoor who misuse such useful things a lot.

    I agree not to mention twitter is so well advertised even on espn they use it as a sales comfort.............. facebook as well gets lots of views but honestly twitter is more viewable facebook pushes contents better .... :eek:

    keep in mind social is very broad... you need to know more aboud word press and how blog to grab twitter friends......... social media works well...... I still say www.FaceBook.com is also very good might be better for social to....
    even they people follow you on Twitter.com I still dont see anyone looking fpor my products or services like FaceBook .... lol

    I've been using twitter for a while now. I have several accounts, each promoting different sites. In the beginning, I found this set of videos http://www.twittertrafficswarmnow.com and watched them several times taking tons of notes. Now my accounts have active followings and good traffic to my sites.

    I use tweet later to auto DM new followers but have a PHP script I use to send tweets on each account every hour or two.

    It's still a learning curve, but I'm seeing some sales :)

    I agree. It's so obvious when a user keeps spamming the network and thus, everyone is starting to unfollow. It's better to stay personal on a regular basis and yet you still talk about business by sharing good links/must-reads for them to take a look. Also, it pays to connect with "relevant" people so you always stay targeted with getting your mutual followers and also learning from them. That way, you gain more and more activities as you tweet longer.
