    I'm looking to run a campaign around the topic of "community pride" but I don't want sexuality (homo or otherwise) to come to mind. Is there another word or phrase that conveys the meaning of "Community Pride" without the double entendre that has developed from the word Pride?

    You can go with: We can once again be the pride of our nation, city, town, neighborhood, etc.

    Or something to that extent.
