    hi guys

I am looking into a niche keyword (actually a phrase) in the STOCK MARKET sector...these are my results using the google search functions

google normal search = 101,000 results

    ALLINTITLE gets = 6 results

    INTITLE gets = 3,190 results

MY QUESTION IS - does this look like something i could rank #1 with little effort? (with proper backlinks etc) or are these numbers crazy!

I know the search volume is high for this term.

    Thanks guys..

On competitive terms the title alone is not going to be a good judge of difficulty

When i launch SEO campaigns for clients with low budgets I use allintitle: or allintitle:"keyword" to find niche words.

Then use keyword research tool like wordtracket to confirm that the keyword generates valid searches.

After that take a look at compititors keyword density (meta and content) and in links

    You should do fine.

Keep in mind that domain history goes into SEO....if you have a new domain it might take a bit to see results

Thats good tips, but I rarely look at the competition that way, at least for rankings in Google.

Here is my own method :D

Go to the competition sites, check the GOOGLE only backlinks
I usually look at the top 5

If the top 1 has 1,000 links and the rest are all in the couple hundred range, it wont take but maybe 1-2 weeks to rank on that term with a domain thats 2-3 years old.

I use this and it works great, I have sites ranking all over for all kinds of niches!

Better target your keywords without including allintitle: or other advanced commands because visitors usually type the keywords without the advanced commands. Just use advanced command to monitor your site if it is indexed or not.
