using testimonials to increase submissions

How many people here actually use testimonials to increase their conversion rate.
Since our directory have started adding more testimonials, we already see a increase in submissions.

Testimonials help by giving social proof. You may be good, but it's better if other people say that you are good. It gives a lot more credibility to the claims.
