OK so say I have a site about plants, I wanna make a adsense page for every plant lets say and give some info about it. Now I write a article at ezine articles and target a keyword phrase and rank on googles first page, now I link back to my sub domain in my bio box. In my actual sub domain its just one page about say "pea plants" with adsense on it...I never update it or anything because its only information about a pea plant. Is this ok to do with google adsense?
Make sure you use ALOT of good unique content for each page and make it informative and you should be ok. I wouldn't suggest making crappy pages with generic info.
yea but they are not really, they are pages with plant info for that plant. Lets say www.theplantinfopage.com/peaplants now on the pea plants page I have information about pea plants and I also put some adsense on the page. Whats wrong with that?
I'd consider it ok, but if I were you, I'd go for abit more content (words), this is to help your niche market more, and also to prevent you from getting attacked by Google. I don't believe it's against the TOS, but not very familiar with Google Adsense any way, haven't researched on these kind of issues. But, should be enough. Meti
well I mean, its gonna be a information site on all the plants. Why would anything be wrong targeting traffic to sub domains and strapin on adsense to it.
Exactly my point, sorry if I were making you confused. But I do not see a problem with your idea, my tip, give it a shot
Regarding: "yea but they are not really, they are pages with plant info for that plant. Lets say www.theplantinfopage.com/peaplants" I think you maybe somewhat confused on what a subdomain is. A subdomain would be www.peaplants.theplantinfopage.com, a separate website. And a one page website is generally not recommended. Www.theplantinfopage.com/peaplants is just another page which is part of www.theplantinfopage.com website. Just as www.theplantinfopage.com/beanplants would be another page to your website. Use a subdomain if you have multiple pages about pea plants. My guess is that you will be adding new pages to www.theplantinfopage.com regularly and some pages will be longer and some shorter in content. I believe, Google will judge your website content overall, that is over the mutliple pages and not just one particular page. Please correct me if I am wrong. Regarding "200 words." Does that give enough valuable information to a visitor about pea plants? Let value be your guideline.
Yep, I would suggest make pages useful/helpful for visitors, instead of adsense. That will come for sure. You should focus on developing content. I do agree with Aldouspi - If that's just a page then it's not at all a good idea to make a subdomain. Make a subpage instead.
If you are doing this on subdomains for the seo factor, ie trying to get #1 position, this is a viable method. But the only thing is, once you get the postion for your keywords in this way, it never stys there long without some backlinks. An ezine article linking back will work but not for long.... If you are just using it to satisfy ezinearticles, that is a different story.
