I have a StumbleUpon account where I have been adding friends to for a while, and also stumbling and voting up their submitted stories. Is this the best way to use StumbleUpon? I have noticed that whenever I share a story, I do get a lot more traffic now when I have more friends than I did a month ago, but I am just curious if there's any piece to the puzzle that I'm missing.
Traffic from stumble may be very good and sometimes even scorch your bandwidth of the server but it is not targeted. That is the traffic does not convert very well. It is better to have a majority of your traffic from search engines...
My best converting method is Stumble upon I got 20 - 40 clicks on adsense and earned from 1 article about 2$! I like it because it the most effiscient than a lot of other methods and including search engines. Ascendancy can you add me us friend? Thank you
The thing about SU is, the traffic is really garbage, it won't convert into anything. I once get 3,000 visit everyday from SU but only earn $0.4 on adsense per day.
StumbleUpon has been the most random yet continous source of traffic I've had for my sites, really don't understand how it works but it is fantastic
Using tags could help to bring more traffic but it depends on your niche. Popular tags get more traffic obviously. It works best for funny stuff, crashes and other crap like that To be honest I don't use StumbleUpon anymore because it just doesnt convert well for me.
