Building a huge opt-in mailing list can reap you the financial rewards you are looking for. But how do you build you list? The easiest way is to use a squeeze page and offer something for free just for joining your list as we do with our Wordpress Guide which has so far added over 1000 subscribers to our list.

Setting up a squeeze page could not be simpler and in this article we discuss how to go about getting one up and running and getting the subscribers you are looking for.

    Getting an Mailing List Script.

Their are hundresds of mailing list scripts available on the internet from self hosted ones to autoresponders hosted for you. We are currently using a self hosted script provided by poMMo which we find extremely easy to use and implement on our website. The best thing is its FREE unlike many of the autoresponders you will find on the internet.

    Setting up your squeeze page.

A squeeze page requires at least 3 pages, The main home page, the confirmation page and a thank you page.

    Create the homepage (Squeeze Page)

The home page is the main selling point of your squeeze page. Include as much information as possible to get them intersted in getting your free product. You can download a free squeeze page template here this is the one we use on our Wordpress Guide website.

    Create the Confirmation Page

The confirmation page is where you want to send all your subscribers to when they decide to sign up. Make sure this page tells them that they will not recieve their product until they confirm their subscription in the email they will recieve.

    Create the Thank-You Page

This is where they will download their ebook. The good thing now is you can place your affiliate links on the thank you page and make money from them. Be sure to use an affiliate link cloaker program to protect your affiliate links. We currently use My Link Guard to hide our affiliate links.
