No, you would be left with the problem of the dampening factor when document A links to document B.

However in this case, it's 2 times the dampening factor. If your page (A) is PR5 and links to the results page you "may" pass on a PR of around 2-3 depending how strong your PR5 is. When this PR2/3 results page links back it may pass around PR0/1.

Then we have to factor in some other variables, in your example using Dewa.com there's a total of 56 links on the result page in the header, footer, similar pages etc. So this PR0/1 weight is split between 56 URL's and only 9 of them being yours which further reduces the weight.

So your handing out a PR5 for a PR0.5 reciprocal link in return. If you really think that's a great deal PM me and maybe we can exchange links.

Yes, but what if you give it a backlink from a site like Digg, or maybe a Signature link? :)

Personally i'd give it to myself and cut the middleman, this way your not applying a double dampening factor and your receiving all the benefit. ;)

This is a very good comment. I do the same. But you will need a dedicated server to really take advantage of this. Shared hosting will not do when Google starts to crawl big time. I used it on a VPS and have to limit Googles crawling, they use all the memory.
