Using SID with AdWords

    Hello all!

I'm new to CJ and had a question. Can the advertisers see the SIDs in links that go to their sites?

I'm direct linking some AdWords to some CJ advertisers. To track what phrases are converting I'd like to add the "sid={keyword}" to the destination link. However, if the advertiser can see these SIDs then it wouldn't take a genius to figure out that those might be PPC phrases. They could then start bidding on them themselves or add them to a list of "protected phrases".

I'll probably eventually create an intermediate link that goes to my site where I can record the {keyword}, attach a less descriptive SID, and redirect to the advertisers page. But I'm wondering if this is something I should do sooner rather than later.

    Thanks!

Just do it. For all purpose sake.
It will come handy in future when things starts to grow.
Make a redirection page of that kind you mention for general purpose.
So you could use it for ALL the different products in CJ or any other affiliate program.
Great tracking always makes a difference.
