Just recently I heard that if we don’t use separator then it will beneficial for my site SERP, is it true??

    For example

    (a) Search Engine Optimization Australia online internet marketing firm SEO Company Melbourne

    OR

    (b) Search Engine Optimization Australia – or | or , online internet marketing firm – or | or , SEO Company Melbourne

So what do you think? if i ignore separator usage it will be beneficial for my site SERP? and if yes then how? or which is more beneficial for my site SERP?

    Looking for experts replay..

    Thanks in Advance

Use separator if you think it is logical to use or you have limitations. for example, if you want to list as much as possible keywords in a title, and title is limited (Google not shows more) to 70 chars (or something like that), so you can use separator "|" rather then "or", because it shorter and you can add more keywords.
    For example:
70 chars: New & Used cars for sale by owner. Toyota|BMW|Mazda|Volvo|Nissan|Audi
85 chars: New & Used cars for sale by owner. Toyota or BMW or Mazda or Volvo or Nissan or Audi

When you use separators, make sure you choose one that easy can be recognized, like '-' or '|'

Maybe it be true but still it wont effect a lot much. Moreover it is the only way to separate logically different phrases.

You can use separator or comma but take precaution that your title length should not go beyond 100 characters.

I have never heard of that before, but even if it did make a difference I can't see that it would be a big difference. Also the other thing to consider is not only SEO but also how it will look in the results. So if you think that using separators will make it easier to read, or more likely to be clicked on, then it would be a good idea regardless of the SEO factors.

Who cares about title separators if it doesn’t influence our search engine marketing campaign? But I like to use | (Pipe or vertical Bar) ,as I feel it makes a distinction between the two phrases. It’s the only character that looks appropriate to me when viewing two seperate pieces of information about a site’s title.

Use comma(,) instead of the bar(|)
