Hi all. Need your opinions on using SEO software. Software like SEO elite, IBP and other programs that speed up the process. Do you think its a good idea to buy and use these programs? or Should you just go it alone and do it the slow way.. I'm really interested in seo and already learning a lot but time is short, kind of busy like the rest of you. If you think it is a good idea to buy software. Whats the best? Thanks.
Those programs seem to be very handy for creation of reports. Other than that I myself tend to stick to Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics
how good is the results for the internet business promoter software version 10. A friend of mine, a fellow webmaster swears by it....??? i mostly use adwords keywords tool, seobook keyword tool, wordtracker and google traffic estimator. although i still ahve to find a proper way to organize the steps to follow and not lose time in following long procedures... regards thinkjayant
IBP is a good program and will help you improve your rankings quicker, But Im starting to see that it is a good idea to do things without automated software. Im learning a lot more already without it ,plus reading posts on DP is helping...
I agree, if you have just 1 website, you are better off alone, but if you have to manage multiple sites these softwares will make your life easier...thats for sure...
Yes, it is right. If you are the webmaster for a single site, then there is no need of any SEO software provided you have sufficient time. Otherwise, it is always preferred to have a software that does the repeated things without any boredom.
Ditto, ideally everything would be done manually, but with multiple websites it gets very hard or impossible.
I alway do SEO for my sites manaully and use free version of IBP and WEB CEO as my guide line, they help me a lot.
IBP is only as useful as you make it. I personally get all the info in need from Analytics. IBP is expensive and is only worth it if you intend to really get the most out of it.
i use IBP buisness version it works really well if you have a single project then i don,t recommend to buy you can do it manual.
Isnt time management important to you guys? these apps are supposed to centralise projects whether 1 or 20 sites so that you're not firing up different apps minimising the time factor and yes you can still learn using these tools as a newbie they give you the logical sequences as a seasoned webmaster to optimising and maintaining a web site ...TIME is king in my opinion.
hehehe... I will tell you my real experience! 1) I have asked a similar question 2 months back.. and i got similar replies where., some said IBP, some said WEB CEO and some said "DONT USE TOOLS" !! See my thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1015689 2) But, yes, i wanna give a try with IBP, web ceo is anyway free.. So, I bought IBP ! Then I somehow got fed up of IBP, as it was not giving wat i want! So, I decided to sell it, but it did not sell here and I asked for a refund with Axandra: See my thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1031801 3) Then I decided to build the SEO tool what i want myself !!! And here is what I have: See my thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1052476 Yes.. Many more things to come up in the tool!!! I have proven record of top 15 rankings with this tool for my sites. but if u r looking for a software, then use WEB CEO.. Its free and good !..
