Using SEO For Adsense or Banner Advertising???

    I've been using Adsense for a few years now, I have strictly used SEO to drive traffic to my adsense sites....

    But I have never used Banner Ads to drive traffic to my Adsense ads....

    Has anyone ever used Banner Advertising and SEO that can tell us which one produced a better CTR?

    banner advertising is long dead unless it is properly targeted. if you are using adsense and want traffic from banner advertising to drive traffic and then get some clicks, i would say its not gonna worth the try or be a good return on investment. then again, it all depends on your niche, where you are advertising, what kind of banner you have and whether it is enticing enough for people to click, etc

    Don't waste your time and money in banner ads...there's a lot of forums and social bookmarking sites..

    About viral marketing...

    You need offer something in order to your visitors can invite their friends to visit your website too.

    For example, I have this blog:
    http://www.gigamundo.com

    During much time I thought: What can I offer? So, I decided to launch an ebook (I'm writing it, still :) ). So, in order to visitor can download it, you can, for example, ask new visitor subscribes your RSS feed and tell who (John Doe) told him about blog. John Doe, so, would receive ebook. :)

    New visitor, so, would indicate your blog to other person in order to get your ebook.

    Unfortunately, I'm not so good in PHP to implement new module to do it, so, for while, it isn't implemented.

    Other option is sending directly to each new visitor subscribing RSS feed, but it isn't viral marketing. But it's easier to implement. :D
