Using SEO and Google Trends got me over 12,000 visitors in 24 hours

sounds good.....did u submit it with same content / title to bookmarking sites?

 

Not an established site. Only one month old. First one in my sig.

 

It sounds too good to be true, I started using google trends a few days ago and optimized my site today wrote stories related to the trends and did submit to social bookmarking / social sites and pinged it too and didn't get close to that man visitors..I mean I got more visitors but not much more then I already had coming in from twitter.

Any tips?

 

By the way, my site is almost a month old too. If you can tell me what the deal is and how I can achieve that, hell, I will split you off some of the revenue I earn.

And also, are these unique visitors or just hits? I get a ton of hits, lol.

 

I am currently promoting my article directory (Free Articles Distribution) using google adwords to drive traffic to my site. Will try to apply the method used by MarketExpert to see whether it works or not.....till then

 

I've used this tactic, and it does, indeed, work.

I had one keyword phrase that I grabbed from Hot Trends which ended up getting me 5000 visits on day one, and about 2-3000 per day for a while after that. I was making $20 per day on Adsense JUST from that one blog post.

The idea is to use the tool for RESEARCH, not to copy and paste the content. It's just a bunch of aggregated information, but is useful for writing a quick post about any topic that is found in Hot trends.

does time that submit social bookmarking is a major issue?

I try to submit social bookmarking at morning or noon (malaysia time) while I believe that other country who make the search is mid nite, it might not able to get a lot traffic during that tine
