Using same IP addresses for websites?

    I heard that it's bad to use the same IP address for more than one website. Can someone explain this? Preferably simple terms. Why is it bad?
    I have a reseller account, can I change the IPs of my websites?

    i don't know from where you've heard but i'm using shared hosting for my websites and all of them are hosted at same IP and they're working really good.

    If you're getting a regular hosting account, you'll share IP with other sites and if you want unique IP, you should get a Dedicated server, but that costs a lot and i think it's not worth to pay.
