using rss feeds is very important seo step for blogs. if anyone is not using it already, they must from now on. it not only give you backlink but also helps your content to get syndicated. i wrote a post on my blog here http://www.seofocused.com/blog/how-rss-feed-submit-helps-seo

Hmmm good question. A painful but possible method is to post them to the rss aggregator sites manually.

Not the best solution, but it would work.

Might be a useful enhancement for a future version, add the ability to post to rss aggregator sites for existing posts.

He he, those guys don't get it!

It's all about building backlinks and driving traffic, not just about constant activity.

Using rss feeds can quite literally put you on page 1 and be a major part of your entire linking strategy..

If you do nothing else, use feedagg.com, posting there for long tails can get you to page 1 alone! (the feedagg.com link itself).

I have people emailing me 4-5 times a week saying they got to page 1 using rss, and have done it countless times myself.

Just try it out for yourself.

Yes give it a go, I think you will be impressed. Lots of people have used it and received great ranking and increased traffic. It works well!

I am working on a new version that has 20 backlinks per post, but that will be a paid product.

I will always have a free edition though.
