Using RSS Directories?

I'm wondering about building links by submitting my RSS feed url to RSS directories.

Lets say if I submit to 80 rss directories, will they pick up my blog post whenever there is a new post? Is this happened automatically or do I have go to each directory and do something?

Well, many of the RSS directories re-produce your content on there directories, that way many do get you good amount of backlinks.

That may help in building authority of your content if looking at search engines side. But its also to be noted that your content will be copied on many of the sites which may be producing duplicate content(bad for seo)

RSS directories, help in pinging, and they do help in getting your content indexed faster too.

so, we only have to submit once is it? cos i heard from someone said that, we have to submit every feed in our site to the rss directory.
