Id like your thoughts on the use of Quality Seal, 100% Satsfaction, 100% Guaranteed images on landing pages.

Obviously available from stock photo sites and tried out one on a landing page that im playing around with (not live yet) placed underneath a lot of the most important content, its yellow and black and stands out quite well.

This is on a landing page to promote a service (affiliate) i think it adds to the quality to be honest.

But i want to know what you think too please?

My own thought is its not like im using words or phrases like "Best" "Unbeatable" and the image isn't trying to paint a picture of being a certificate and its not of any authority, basically a generic quality 100% type of image.

    Do you think its acceptable?

It is acceptable by Google, they can hardly "read" images anyway. If you post the example I'll give my opinion..?

If you're going to post a 100% guarantee image then I hope you follow through with it.

Also depends on the kind of image you use and the product you are selling. For example, tacky images might rather ward off people than buy your product. Must appear as if its complimenting your page. Ask yourself (or friends) after placing the image, would you buy from your own site?

    I agree.

I agree with this too, needs to be complimenting the page.

I really like it. It isn't too tacky or anything. Just give it a shot and see what happens.

Thanks, i browsed through many, some look pretty poor to be honest, i also found one that is more of a gold/yellowish color, less black and chose to use this gold/yellow one, its quite good looking where ive placed it on the landing page.

Il resist going over the top with things like that though, i think one, strategically placed can create a feeling of trust on the page, but more than that could look tacky and a bit dodgy.

Apart from when a seal or label is from something official, then i think its ok when theres a few in place.

I have had mixed success with using them. I had the most success with a double your money back guarantee, but you have to make sure returns are low. It is worth a try. If you can I would test a few different ones.
