Using Prepaid American Express Gift Cards to Buy Online?

    Just wondering, does anyone know if you could purchase one of those prepaid american express gift cards to buy a domain name or something? Can you buys those cards when you're under 18?

    I have found it extremely difficult to use American Express card for Internet purchases, most online shops won't accept it. I use my MasterCard instead.

    But does an AE gift card work anywhere that accepts AE cards. e.g. godaddy?


    Stupid question, but do you have to be a certain age to buy the cards?
