I'm thinking to outsource my adwords to some agency but not sure if they know more then I do. If somebody outsourcing ppc please share here exeprience: was any improvements or not etc Thanks
Not sure they know more than you? If you know more than them, you should do it yourself then. Highly unlikely if that's what they do. So outsourcing is a good idea. But words of advice: don't think you know more than them. You likely don't since you are looking to outsource. Give them time. PPC is not an exact science. I just hate clients that want instant results and think they know everything. Your advantage is that you know your products. Their advantage is knowing PPC. There needs to be a symbiotic relationship.
Just be careful if you decide to outsource. Make sure you research the company fully. THere are a lot of companies out there that are willing to run your campaign but don't do a very good job. In some cases you will propably be better off doing it your self. Read reviews and find the most reputable company. Running your campaign takes time. I find it hard to believe an outsourced company is going to spend the time required on your campaign to make it run successfully.
I agree with webmarketingaid that you do need to be careful. Ask if they have a piece of software that they use or even make that automates PPC campaign optimization. Some places try to do all the management by hand. Others use some piece of software to guide the campaign when they are working on their other clients'. Both can be good, but it is still important to ask for your comfort. Also, I would ask the normal questions like what they specialize in, how long they have been in business, how much money they manage, etc. All of these will help you paint a picture of what they are like. Lastly, notice the customer service. Do they seem to care about you when they talk on phone or email? Do they offer advice without charging you for it? If so, it seems like they are comfortable in their expertise, but if not, you might want to look elsewhere.
When outsourcing anything, you're looking for people who know what they are doing. If they know what they are doing, it's only a matter of time before they'll optimize your campaign to perfection. If you feel that they are better at PPC than you are, then go for it. I would be careful of who you trust, though. I'm doing a campaign right now for a local client. I'm going to cut his costs in half with ease. He didn't even realize that he wasn't tracking his conversions and spending money blindly.
IMO PPC is more feasible to outsource then SEO - SEO dime a dozen, but PPC really requires fine tuning and skills for proper ROI.
A good agency will review your account and tell you if there are opportunities to improve it. Ask them to run your account through their checklist and ask what they think. They should be able to offer up some advice on what you're doing well or not. Also agreed about tooling, find out who they use for their bid management software, if anyone. If you have a large account with over 500 conversion events/month, software can give you a huge edge. Less than that, managing by hand is better. Lastly, you'll be interfacing with a sales person or the agency owner most likely. Ask who will be managing your account, get their education, experience level, and take him or her out to lunch. Outsourcing PPC will, at the very least, provide you a new set of eyes on the account for a couple months and free up your time to run your business.
My experience is that we as owners know the nuances of our businesses better than someone at an agency that is just interested in the management fee.
