Has anyone had any experience with using Pop-Ups/Under's to market their business? There are tonnes of companies out there that provide massive amounts of traffic for really cheap something like: (100,000 visitors for $90 USD). I know the conversion rate for selling my product would be low but it might be worth it. If you know of any good companies let me know plz.
That would depend on how targeted your ad is, compared to the website. If your advertising with pop-ups on a gaming site, and advertising a health ad, conversion rates would be low. Even if you can target it to a category, it would still be low. In my experience, I have had no luck with them, I have paid over $200 for pop-ups/unders and haven't received a cent back. I really see them as pointless, most people go CLICK and bam, wasted money. I did it for 1,000 visitors and I got like 20 true visitors out of it :/. (They charge you for the views of the pop-up, not the click through.)
I tried it once a good few years ago and the low quality of traffic doesn't make it worth it at all. If you have adsense ads or cpm ads on the page that you popup, then you probably will get banned from these programs if caught as it's also against some programs TOS to put their ads on your pages that get poped up on other sites.
