using polls in Joomla content pages?

i'm trying to figure out a way to use polls in the Joomla content items, independent of whether or not they are linked to MENU items.

currently, the only way to put up a poll is to assign it to a menu item, where it will appear in the specified module position e.g. top, left, or right.

however, i want to display it in the middle of the page, in the content itself.

you can not do this joomla 1.0.12. i think you must submit this as a feature request on joomla.org.

 

Well, you could do it, but you'd have to do it yourself by creating a mambot for it. I'd check extensions.joomla.org and see if there are any poll components that come with a mambot already.
