using php with joomla

    Ok , i have just started exploring joomla world. So, can anybody tell me how i use php code with joomla. I have adviced to use directphp(an extension for joomla) to put php code inside joomla content. But, one of the reviews said it dont work for loop! Is it so? Then what is the best way? Jumi? or anything else?

    you can use php with joomla cms, that will be very easy. you have to make module & components by your php code. thats it.

    If you want to use PHP inside Joomla,then go for JUMI.
    If you want to make custom extensions using PHP,then you need to know OOP in PHP with jQuery knowledge..Thanks :)
