Its matter? If we use php, asp, or any script. All these languages are search engine friendly or its push ranking back?
how is asp a total mess yes, you can use anything, extension is not effective in determining rankings in anyway
Server side scripting does not have an effect on SERP. However, try to avoid dynamically generated pages with long parameters as mentioned in the google webmasters guidelines. Under normal circumstances, .php == .html == .asp == .jsp
Javascript WILL hurt ranking if used to display content you want to rank for, as no major search engines currently bother to interpret javascript, so it's effectively invisible to them - which may be of use in other ways This of course may change, and I have seen on my stats and heard about MSN (r&d?) bots accessing javascript content, though I've yet to hear of it affecting rank?
bottom line is that it depends on how you use it... well-generated asp and php (even better is comes with mod_rewrite) is just as good as static html...
long page adress generation, most asp sites I visited was low to load ... not really dynamic as php in my viewpoint ...
What about flash? If we use flash banner in our site. It push the rank back. If yes then how much? HTML or HTML + Flash banner or PHP or ASP? Give the search engine friendly rank. 1. Most search engine friendly 2............... 3............... 4.less SE friendly
If you want to have more search engine friendly pages you would better convert flash to HTML + images. Do not forget to add "alt" and "title" tags on images for better results.
A flash site is not encouraged but it would not hurt adding some plug-ins for visual effects You may also want to read about Optimize Flash for more details.
I'm sorry, but I can't resist this.... WHAT ARE YOU NUTS?!?!??!! Each programming language has it's advantages and disadvantages. In fact, I think it's best to be very well rounded in application structures, so you can make intelligent choices about the code markup language you're going ot be using, or working with other peoples code. But are you really and truly giving your well rounded and experienced experience as to the quality of asp sites. Have you ever made an asp or asp.net site? For your edification, some of the most mission critical and heavily travelled site feature asp and asp.net. I am not even suggesting that I think asp or asp.net is better in anyway shape or form. But it's obvious that you are a php enthusiast. My hats off to you sir, I'm happy you have found your coding language of choice. But i don't think you know enough about asp or asp.net when you make a statement like this.
