I live in a country not supported by PayPal yet (Egypt) To register on eBay, i need to have a PayPal account! Is there any way I can make a International Visa that could get emailed to me? This way I can use it as my credit card to get PayPal verified and start selling?.... I will have no trouble withdrawing the money from PayPal since I purchase a lot of stuff online. So I will use my own money in paypal to pay for tht stuff
Hello Priykochin, I do respect policies and follow them! Its only that PayPal is crucial for any online business to succeed. I need to be able to use PayPal somehow to help my customers pay easily for what they want without going into too many hassle! I dont consider this against any rule!
You, may not consider it against the rules because you want to use it, but what you are wanting to do is against the rules. Your excuse for "needing" to use PayPal isn't going to hold up to PayPal's ToS when you get your account limited.
but is your country in the list of countries where you are able to receive payments?? you may have some restrictions like in some countries you just can send money using PP and you can not receive funds
Do it only if you want to get your account limited and lose both your reputation and money along the way. Once you hit a certain receiving limits, you will be prompted to submit copies of your utility bill, photo ID and all that. Once that happens, you will be found out. At the same time, each time you log in, your IP address would be logged and with the comprehensive checks and balances at eBay, they will easily track you down to an unsupported country which would be a violation of your contractual agreement. How do you think anyone can trust you if you are not honest about your particulars in the first place ? Online trading is all about trust and since you be shipping products, you will need to gain the trust of your customer and eBay.
Yes, We are not able to use Paypal in non supporting countries Paypal will ban or make account limited
You make me sound as if I am stealing my own money I just needed some advice, not a definition of trust! Thanks to all people who offered me help here in reaching something. And to the people who are not happy. You would be someday asking the same question if you were in my shoes. Running a business, but getting 90% of your customers insisting on only using PayPal. Just wanted to clear my point. Thanks all!
You may be honest to yourself but by signing up from an unsupported country, you will be being dishonest to both Paypal and your customers. Rules are there for a reason and Paypal prohibits certain countries not because they allow them to use it through some loopholes. If they did, there wouldn't be any prohibitation in the first place. Whatever you do, just make sure you understand the risk involved because I do not want you to come here one day when Paypal limits your account and you come here complaining that Paypal is dishonest and steals your money and so on. As long as you are willing to accept the risk that you will not be able to gain access to the money you earn through paypal by violating their policies and your contractual agreement then just go right ahead. We are just here to warn you based on the experiences of others who did what you plan to do and cannot get access to their money. In the end, whether you earn money through paypal and can spend it or not, does not affect us to the least bit. If you do not want to take our warning, it is your choice. The one who suffer would be you and not us.
eddy2099 is right, but... You may use 3rd party service who will have paypal as well have repsentative in your country or ability to pay you in other way (doing exchane paypal - your way on their end). Also you should be able to use their own system which will show all your paypal sales without requiring you to login to paypal account (will it be done via SMS notices or e-mail reminders of sales, etc.). So whole process is legal 100%! That's what work for me in my country.
forget about tricks with paypal. vpn, etc. find a middleman or use 2co, it have option to accept paypal, any problems with that ?
be careful when doing this... If you receive a big money later (100+$) They will limit your account & will ask you for proof of Identity (This happened to 1 of my friends in Iran) and off course you won't be able to supply Proof of address, so prepare yourself to loose any amount of money if you do that.
You are not looking for advice, you are just looking for someone to say, yes it is alright to break the rules set down by Pay Pal TOS. There are a good deal of advice given. It seemed all you want is for someone to say that. Frankly my opinions are the same with Eddy and the rest. It does not matter whether you do not think you are breaking the rules when in fact, you are.
Thank you all for your advice. Im sorry if i got a bit stressed. SEOLinker, can you tell me where I could find such service?
Try egypt webmaster forums, asian ones, someone from asia/close countries should have it. Some virtual offices or so.
