Using paypal balance to make payments

    hi dp members,

    i have a paypal account but i did not add a credit card, as i don't wish to use one.

    I earn money [receive money to my paypal] by selling services. I want to use some of this money to buy something online, such as domains from godaddy etc.

    My issue is when i make a payment and after it ask me to log in to make payment, paypal asks me to enter a credit card. There are no options to use the current paypal balance to pay with.

    Even though i have a balance of around $200 in it. Does that mean i cannot use paypal balance to buy online?

    Please help. What should i do? i don't want to add a credit card.

    Nope..Godaddy doesn't accept payments from unverified paypal..You can buy a domain from namecheap..also you can buy some goods from ebay

    if i verified my paypal with a credit card or a VCC. Will paypal allow me to make payments with my account balance?

    or there is no way we can use account balance to make online payments?

    when you login just go to the my account page, should work fine

    There should be an option to go to my account at the top

    if you want to save your $200 then please Never Use VCC because paypal detect your VCC and freeze your account for ever.

    buy products from other sites.
    also my paypal is not verify but after few days i get a credit card and verify my paypal ac.

    you can always apply for a paypal debit card. Thats what I did at first when I didnt have a bank account added to mine so it could be verified. They dont charege you for anyhitng and no fees if you use it :)

    You can't buy from your paypal balance if you are not verified. If you are verified, you can buy the domain names with your balance. If you are above 18 years of age, you can get a cc.

    Why don't you just verify it with your real credit card? What is the point in a VCC when you can use a real one?

    VCC is cheaper then real CC, since it didn't charge any fee. But I guess you to use real CC

    i am 18.
    i don't have a credit card or a bank account lol

    i was thinking to verify using a VCC but someone told me that is risky.

    I make around 800$ every month in that paypal account some i spend directly.
    I don't wish to withdrew as i want to reinvest this money in my sites.

    So i am totally confused now... verifying with VCC gets account banned?

    Not really... unless and untill you do anything wrong. I mean its safe if there are no charge backs on your account. :)
    PayPal generally asks for a cc statement when there is a chargeback or any other matter like that which you can't give if you are using a vcc.
    Otherwise its fine !

    You should be able to get a real credit card for free, it will have a low limit and probably high charges to use - but if you only use it to verify PayPal then you wont have to pay anything.


    Why don't you get a CC and bank account? I had a bank account when I was about 5, and a CC when I turned 18 - where do you even keep your money?
