Using Outlook online with Microsoft Exchange server?

Hi,

I understand that microsoft outlook pop 3 emails to a local computer.

I want to know if there is a way to use microsoft outlook online instead.

Can the microsoft exchange server do something like that?

I want to access my emails from anywhere in the world but having them online instead of on a local computer.

 

You could use imap instead of Pop3 ?

Also, you may want to look at an hosted exchange solution like:
