Using Netscape To Get Huge Traffic To Your Site

I Figured I would share a blog post about How to get around 10k uniques to your website Using Netscape.

This is bs. It won't work because Netscape has paid editors, and the editors review everything before it makes the frontpage - which is why a lot of people don't use Netscape. The reviewers will smell out spam and will also not let any bs site get on the frontpage, which is why it's mostly news articles on politics or whatever - the few times I've been there I've never seen anything get past the editors that wasn't legitimate.

 

I have several times.

There is a story on the frontpage right now that only has 5 votes

I usually submit my articles to Netscape. Sometimes they get traffic, sometimes they don't. Never been enough to make it part of my check list after writing an article.

 

How many traffic you get when you are in the front page?

anywhere from 5-10k when you hit front page during peak hours.

 

Netscape is an easy place to get high ranking links and traffic from but like
Slincon said. Netscape has editors that manage the front pages right now. Just be careful when getting your votes and you should be okay.. don't ever post live links and ask users to vote. They have software that picks up referral links very fast.

Have gotten some but not much traffic from being at the top of the different sections.

 

I usually ad my stories to Netscape, and I get around 50-300 visitors, depending on the story. But I dont think I'll ever make the front page. Nor on Reddit, since I have the feeling that people using Reddit love to vote my stories down, no matter what I submit. It feels like Reddit is a closed community, that you can't really enter unless you have friends there!

Netscape have paid editor to review the story before manually list them on front page. If you vote for your own story using blackhat method, your story will be remove and "your accounts" will be suspended. I have a story where i get around 50 votes within 24 hours ( organic votes, not any blackhat methods ), the story can't go to the front page yet. Therefore, i believe we should put more weight on those seniors there. If you can get their vote, the % of your story to be listed on front page will be higher. Anyway, netscape is a very good option for link building. The category main page have pr8 and the inner page have pr6. Get the hint?

NS is good for getting high PR back links, which is what we all need, the traffic (if you get it) is an added bonus to the backlink

 

I am suprised not a lot of others use Netscape as well - I have found that many of my Netscape submissions also rank in google and bring me tons of traffic that way as well.

 

This is junk... I dont think its anything decent.

 

My site MonkeyMeter.com got about 500 hits by being the headline article about road rage in there automotive section. That was about 2 years ago though.
