Can I use merchant site's images on my site for common representative of particular category?

Well, most affiliate programs or networks give you image links of the merchant that are hosted on there servers, so I would say that should be no problem, but if you were to go straight to the merchants site and do the firefox drag and drop thing to get there image URL and put it on your site, I'm pretty sure that would be bandwidth hogging

    Hope this helps

wouldnt take it off the merchants website....hotlinking is looked down upon, take it from the affiliates site instead

unless the merchant expressly states they don't want you doing it, it should be fine.
