    Hello dp members,

I have a linux server and found like to connect to it and use it as a desktop, but i dont have any idea on how to do this.

Could anyone suggest me software which i would require to install on my server in order to get this working.

I did do some googling and i found tinyvnc but i had no luck with that it didnt work when i tired to connect.

    Thanks in advance,

You need to activate X Windows or you will end up using a desktop with shell access which is quite cumbersome.

Ubuntu with vnc access is easy to setup and use as far as I've seen.

What OS are you using? Look up the X window system, freenx server and the gnome desktop.
