Using links I don't like?

Hi, I'm trying to build links for 2 of my sites, both relatively new.

I'm using linkexchange and man, I must be turning down 5 links a day and maybe getting 1 a week.

I turn down all the pharmacy online links, and anything else that "I" believe is questionable - even if they have a high google rank.

Am I being too picky/snobbish? Should I just be taking all the links I can get no matter what the content on the site? (trying to keep my sites family friendly and respectable)

    Thanks in advance

    U could switch to www.linkmetro.com
it allows your to choose who u want to link with
and so does www.linkmarket.net if u pay them its like $25 a yr so it very reasonable

    I would recommend both

sorry, it is linkmarket I'm using and I did do one membership which helps for the one site but I'm also not getting much in the way of links so I'm not willing to pay for another just to have them filter out the sites I don't want...

but, my original question was to determine if I should stand by my ethics and refuse sites based on my dislike for them or if it's better to get links, no matter where they come from?

I will check out the other site you suggested and see if I have better luck getting quality site links there.

    Thanks.
