Iv'e seen this everywhere but are people putting code next the ads to make it show a high paying keyword or are they making the whole site content based on that high paying keyword? I see both im but im confused! Thanks for the help guys!
Your keyword is based on your: 1.meta description, and maybe meta keywords(actually google doesn't pays attention to it, msn does) 2.title, header1, header2, bold texts, most repeated keywords at your page (actually "a, is, one, you, me, etc" words don't counts ) 3.anchor texts These are generating your main keyword, but for example: if you have a website about ..business, and you repeat a keyword like "wallpapers" many times, then you will get wallpaper ads.. Hope I helped. All the bests!
Personally, I focus on providing quality content within the respected keyword field and let the Adsense keyword ad fall as they may. When you have tons of quality content, you're bond to get good traffic and SERP. Trying to manipulate adsense keyword ad is a short term strategy that is more work than it's worth. However, having the appropriate title and heading do help with keywords.
Here's how it goes with such keywords 1.) Pick a profitable topic (debt elimination, insurance, etc) 2.) Write pages targetting those high $ keywords. 3.) Create a ton of pages for high-query, low-competition keywords related to the topic. Numbers 1 and 2 are easy. It's #3 that's the most important. Otherwise, the site is never seen because the competition is so high for those keywords.
Sound like this <meta name="description" content="here goes you description with 2-3 main keywords"> Valueman, this is not manipulation of adsense, this is just the way to make your xxx based website get the relevant ads..I didn't mention to repeat insurance 30 times in a text while the site is about cd-players as for Tigergreen, I think the competition for high paying keywords is very high, and if people will start making insurance websites, then the CPC of the keyword will go deep down..and others will go up, so just keep building sites for high paying keywords..
