using keywords in sub-domain to niche?

    Hi

I want to purchase a number of keyword rich .coms for my service businesses, although all relevant domains are taken.

Is it possible to pick a generic word or phrase as the TLD, and then niche each site with sub dom keywords?

    for example

    bmw.secondhandcars.com
    audi.secondhandcars.com

Each sub Dom would be a completely separate site, i just want to have my keywords in the domain and this seems the only way possible.

    Does this work for Google?

    Thanks in advance

Why not market the site as a whole eg.
    Secondhandcars.com
and from there let the user chose the make of the car.

Let me tell you doing it that way will be 100x easier then marketing each sub domain and I'm not sure if the google algorithm will like that at all.
