    Hi

I have a site, which provide online iit courses. But now I want to provide medical courses in India too. So I am making a sub-domain of my site, I little bit confused that what would be the perfect name of my sub-domain. I have chosen two names
    aipmt.xyz.com
    or
    medical.xyz.com

Please suggest me what would be better.

I have to agree with Dan on this one. You could also just use sub-folders, example.com/health-care, soon the way Google uses\views sub-domains will/is changing, you wouldn't find much an SEO "value" using either or.

Yes, Matt Cutts confirmed this at the last Pub Con. :D

Yes, you can choose medical.xyz.com or healthcare.xyz.com, both can be useful.

yes dan it absolutely right, because healthcare doesn't mean a generic keyword for G or other SE's.
You should use "-" in between to keywords,
    like health-care.
No more comments possible on this.
