I want to make a small niche product review site, and was thinking of using Joomla. I want users to be able to review the models, and have comments viewable on there, each brand has 1-5 models, so on the main page I want a simple brand navigation, and then a thumbnail nav under each brand page....It would be great if the comments could be right under the specific product page and not on another.... Does anyone have experience enough to contract for this, or just send me to the right review extension? I can't even figure out which one they are using on the official extension page! Thanks
A Link would be good if you have an example? but have you considered making a catagory for the brand for example Multiplex - then under this have articles for each model and link the catagory to the menu, using the blog type. this would then display your models and images (and text if you have this in the preview half) on the page and if pressed allow the user to go to the spesific model and at the bottom of this model you could have your reviews. there are a few review moduels out there and they are all avalible via the joomla extentions site but most need to be purchased form their respected sites. hope this helps, if not Pm me and i'll see what i can do Jreview - iv heard is pretty good
