What you would do is turn non-keyword links into images so that search engines do not pic them up as a irrelivant keyword. I was wondering if this was a practice by any webmasters?
Why would you do such a thing? For your link exchange partners? Then you'll make them angry, they will want to have their keywords in the anchor of a text link... otherwise, why include links that are not relevant to your site's topic?
i mean for links like maybe 'Home' or 'Terms of Use' or 'Links' .. .. links that really are unrelated to the main topic/keyword of the page.
That seems like a lot of work for not much benefit. Also, consider that some people search (ctrl-F) the web page for text, and they won't be able to find the text if it's embedded in an image.
