vBulletin is probably the best forum script , I know its better , but if you don't have money ten don't go for nulled. Its illegal , also its abusing someone's efforts , just think you created something for a hard work of 6 months and someone steal it and use it , how you feel? Leave it , if you will use null vbulletin verson , and someone noticed it or report jelsoft or piratereports then you have to face worst conditions , the host will automatically rmove your website with database backup too. If you have offshore server then you will be in some safe , but its not good to steal someon'es effort. Using null i never recomment , start with free ones if you don't have money to buy paid forum software.
LOL, Phpbb sucks in more way than one, including in security. If someone needs free forum software they can always get mybb or smf.

I have to say it is quiet disappointing asking for such advice. If you really like their software so much, then save up money and buy it, if you can live and have internet you can surely but the software, and if you can't go for a free solution. It's not just illegal but morally wrong, those people have worked years and it's probably their life job and main source of income, they deserve the cost.
