Using icons in combination with name

    Hi folks,

    recently I've asked myself a serious question. If I use the social media bookmarks of Nouveller (Benjamin Reid) or Paul Robert Lloyd on my website in combination with the name of the service and a link to the homepage of that certain service (e.g. "<icon of yahoo> Yahoo!" as a link to yahoo.com), can I be sued for doing so even tho I'm just using icons of someone who is providing for free usage on all platforms under the terms of a Creative Commons license? Or is it enough to say in the imprint who made the icons and include a sentence that neither me nor the creator of these images claims any ownership on the logos that the icons may or may not show?

    Help me out!

    Kind regards,
    @themaximilian
