    New style prevents hop hijacking.

    http://www.clickbank.com/help/affiliate-help/affiliate-basics/all-about-hoplinks/

    Q: I have HopLinks in an older format. Will they still work?

    A: Yes, any old HopLinks you have will continue to work. However, we recommend that you use current HopLink formats for improved conversion rates, since they are less likely to be hijacked by spyware or other hostile programs that look for old formats of HopLinks.

    thank you,

    just read higher up that article over the question you posted, it says;

    Make sure you are using a properly formatted HopLink, which should look like http://SAMPLETEXT.hop.clickbank.net. Do not use the vendor’s Pitch Page URL with your nickname at the end (e.g., www.samplesite.com/?hop=nickname) as your HopLink, as ClickBank cannot track your sales using this link.

    So the answer is no.

    Do not use the first format dude. Some people in this fourn either did not understand your question or do not know anything about clickbank.

    Use the second format. If you use the first format you are screwed!!. You will only give money to the vendor and nothing for you. http://xxxxxx.vendor.hop.clickbank.net is the right way to go.

    For sure that will not work for you. Use the standards, everything is clear concerning this issue.

    Do not do this, I learnt the hard way wasting a load of Adwords cash using this format! It gives you a good quality score and lots of clicks, but your cookie is not registered!
