using hate comments in REP, i guess was some mod on DP

i already said that i felt it to be some MOD as the thread was merged just after the comment. but i am not sure, and i thought it was some other guy, but he said, wasn't me

 

Out of curiosity, why do people who have extra-thin skin and no ability to except criticism, even if mis-guided keep looking at their rep comments.

I recieve these comments many times also u know they are so that they reach to my recent blog link and in the blog they post some bad comments

But if i open a thread for every comment, it can go 3 - 4 threads per day seriously...

It is very bad practice to blame Mods. Mods are here to make sure smooth functioning of the forums. I dont think they have personal friends and foes over here. Once you are not 100% sure do not go for assumption.

If I red rep someone I do not want to mention my name along with my comments. It does not mean that I do not have courage to prove my identity. Red reps are not a envenoms activity. It can be considered as an advice or an alert for not to repeat the same attitude in future. By giving someone red rep it does not mean that he/she has been placed at top of my hate list. If I mention my name along with red rep comments, Iam sure he/she is going to mistaken me. Giving red....at the same time I do not want to loose any friends. Hence I always not willing to mention my name. But Iam going to compensate those lost rep points over period of time for a good posts.

Let me share my red rep expereince here. Once I got red rep from a Mod. Even I know who awarded me the Red. Because that red rep situation was so obvious to find out from whom I got that hot reputation. But I never opened my mouth against. I considered it as a corrective measure. But later stage I got so much green from same mod.

So my sincere advise is not to raise an alarm about a red rep and do not abuse the way you like. Analyse the situation to know what went wrong. If you assume that a particular person red ripped you, do not red rep in turn. Because it is only your assumption. So it is better not to worry too much about infractions/reds/comments if those are from mods.

I find this thread highlt entertaining but, I wanted to provide some insight.

Absolutely no one should care what complete strangers think about you over the internet. They don't know you.

On the other hand, I am new to doing trades online. I have only done one transaction online ever and it was at DigitalPoint (I have never sold bought anything off Amazon/Ebay/Cragislist etc,...) If I had red rep it would hurt my credibility, and I want people to know that if they deal with me, they haven't been tricked into dealing with a scammer. Red rep doesn't help. I hope to continue good businnes transactions over DP and other sites (Link back to my DP profile).

 

The funny thing about these threads is that they are replied to by many saying don't come in here and piss and moan. Then they themselves engage in a pissing match.

That is why rep threads suck ass. Most of the ones who complain, deserve them. Gotta break them in early.
