    Yeah using Webmaster Tools is a must, its especially nice with Wordpress having it all automated.

    Sure, google has done a good job with webmaster tools. I can finally define whether I like www.domain.tld or domain.tld has my primary URL, I also get an option of choosing my target geography (if I want to) and I am also given an option of increasing my crawl rate if google see too many pages.
