Hi Guys I'm new to adwords, and have come across a problem. I've checked out GuyFromChicago's excellent post, but I'm still stuck. All my ads have been disapproved because of a 'Google Trademark Issue'. The site is FreeAdsenseSites.net My site contains 'adsense' in the URL. My site contains images which contain the text 'adsense'. My ads contain the word 'adsense'. I don't know which of these three potential problems is the one that is halting my world domination efforts! There are many other similar sites selling the same stuff, using the adsense trademark. Any advice appreciated
Google doesn't check the display URL for trademarks. I'd take out the word "adsense" from your title or ad text, submit the ad, and it should get submitted. If it doesn't work, you know the word adsense isn't the issue. If it does work, then try editing the ad to put the trademark back in. I thought Google tells you what the trademarked term is, but it's been a while since I've had an issue...
Bear in mind though that sooner or later you'll get a letter/email from Google demanding you stop using that URL. Might be a good idea to find a different domain name now, instead of down the line when you've invested so much into it! Google is pretty protective over it's IP.
Thanks for the responses guys. I've emailed G to get this cleared up (they will probably tell me that all three are a problem, I know!)
